Professional path

My grooming career started in Winnipeg in 2014. I was trained by the #1 IPG certified master groomer in Canada - Sandy Orford.
For the last 9 years I worked at the grooming salon Bark, Bath & Beyond in Victoria, BC.In May 2025, I decided to start my own home grooming practice to provide a safe and comfortable grooming experience for our beloved fury babies.

Grooming

My top priority is a dog's physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Each dog is unique, and thus, a grooming clip should be specifically designed to match its physical condition and lifestyle.

This video demonstrates a grooming process that can be done in any area of your home that doesn't have carpets, has an outlet, and enough lighting, such as the bathroom, garage, laundry room, kitchen, etc.

Bathing & Drying

There are two options with bathing and drying:
1) The owner can bathe and dry their dog by themselves a day before grooming. This way will reduce the grooming price and will let the dog rest between bathing and the haircut itself. The dog should be clean and dry by the time I arrive, so I can do the haircut.
2) I provide the full complex of grooming services: bathing, drying and the haircut. I have a foldable tub for dogs that I set in a bathroom. Or I can use a tub, if it's available.

Double-coated dogs

For a double-coated dog, it's essential to brush out as much undercoat as possible before bathing. Because the process is very messy, it's better to do that outside, on a patio, deck or backyard.
The bathing could be done after deshedding by the owner or me (for an extra charge).

Master-class

For owners, who prefer to groom their pup on their own, I offer a master-class.
It's a one-time appointment, where I teach the owner how to groom their dog in a safe and more professional way.
